SELF STORAGE is Hiring an Assistant Store Manager - Andersonville/Albany Park Near Chicago, IL

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Develop customer relationships by identifying thier storage needs and providing solutions
  • Shipping and receiving, iPostal, and other mail duties
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of one or more sites
  • Meet sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies
  • Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements
  • Maintain facilities - sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, etc.
  • Ensure the facility meets the highest cleanliness standards through general maintenance duties
  • Work independently on daily tasks as well as cooperate with team members
  • May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations

The following does not imply that these are the only duties and responsibilities at the facility. An employee will be required to follow any jobrelated instruction and perform other workrelated duties requested by his/her supervisor.

Your Qualifications

  • 2 years of customer service experience (i.e. retail sales, restaurant, sales associate, front desk, site management, and or other customer-centered sales roles)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Self Storage Experience is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
