Family members looking for Direct Support Professionals to provide assistance to adult males with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care and support, including assisting with activities of daily living, helping to develop independent living skills, and providing transportation services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be patient and understanding, and have a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Assist individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills.
Assist individuals in developing and maintaining social skills.
Ensure the safety of individuals in their care.
Complete required documentation for mdhhs and lifeways community mental health
Maintain a positive attitude and be respectful of individual rights.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
