We have an immediate need for a Survey Field Technician in the Chapel Hill, NC area.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Assist Survey Crew Chiefs and / or their immediate supervisors with work on many different types of surveys seeking the locations of natural features and man-made structures on the Earth’

s surface, underground, and underwater.

• Survey types you will learn and work with include but are not limited to boundary, ALTA, topographic, existing conditions, right-of-way, transmission line, transportation, construction, and others.
• Adhere to our technical field standards, and administrative procedures.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding conduct. Required :
• Min. 2 years of relevant experience related to land surveying. Technical trade school and / or college / university courses can be counted towards experience.
• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Able to pass non-scheduled drug screenings and a driving records check.
• Must be willing to perform work after regular business hours, on weekends, and on holidays when necessary, including working overtime when required.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical demands of the position including squatting, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, traversing difficult terrain, and accessing construction sites in all weather conditions.
• Must be willing and able to occasionally travel overnight as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for an employee-based visa. Trimble preferred
