Selectek has an opening for a SCADA Support Specialist in the Tucker, GA area.

Required :

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and / or Computer Engineering.
• Understanding of SCADA and how to operate and troubleshoot - understanding of metering and power
• 1-3 years of experience in a utility environment utilizing skills associated with communications protocol between IEDs.
• DNP3.0 (must) and Modbus (is a plus) communication protocols

Job Details :

Provides technical support to all System Control Centers and commissioning agents (i.e. Technicians and Test Engineers) that install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair components in distribution, generation, and transmission type facilities.

Also, possesses a working knowledge of databases and networking technologies. Assists in completing EM projects

Familiarity with GE D20, SEL-RTAC RTUs

Assist the EM Metering Engineer(s) in the operation and maintenance of the revenue metering system.

Pay Range : $50 / hour - $75 / hour ($104,000 - $156,000 pay range)

Term of assignment : 6 months temp or longer (could possibly go temp to perm but right now temp)

Location : Tucker, GA

Hours & Shift : Monday - Friday 8AM 5PM (some flex)

Overtime : Not expected

Travel : None, but possible if needed at site occasionally (pretty rare)

Work Attire : Business Casual
