The difference that I am looking for in a bookkeeper is someone that is motivated to learn and wants to ensure accuracy and takes it to heart when an error is made. Someone who pushes the boundaries of always looking for a better strategy and keeps their finger on the pulse of the business to discuss future strategy with.

If you are a certified CPA and just out of college or tired of working for corporate then this job would be a perfect candidate for you as well. The pay will be reflected on your experience and qualifications.

We need someone that understand depreciation schedules, taxes, balance sheets and tax strategies or hungry to learn them.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation

- Do bi-weekly payroll and all of the reports that need to be filed for that process on a monthly basis and a yearly basis.

Experience:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and procedures
- Experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
- Accurate 10-key typing skills
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
