Job DescriptionUnder supervision:
Troubleshoots, maintains, and programs electronic controls for mechanical and hydraulic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls and servo-drives. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing.
Isolates defects in wiring and motors using test instruments.
Inspects equipment and diagnoses trouble.
Dismantles machinery and replaces defective parts.
Performs all work with adherence to safety procedures.
Inspects completed work and insures it conforms to all safety codes.
Estimates time and material costs.
Requisitions supplies and equipment.
