Assist in developing, managing and maintaining the company’s quality management systems. Communicate and train company’s employees on the established guidelines, work instructions, procedures and policies related to adherence to quality system guidelines. Assist with company’s compliance efforts with USDA and FDA, Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten Free Certified and SQF guidelines.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 11pm

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (up to entire shift).

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Skills

• Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, Word, Excel, etc.
• Critical Thinking Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Understands and can use basic mathematics.
• Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
• Uses scientific rules and methods to solve problems.

Technical Skills

• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
• Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
