Associate Attorney - Hybrid - Toxic Tort (IL) in our Chicago office with a minimum of 1-3 years of litigation experience. With a primary focus on toxic tort litigation, the attorney holding this position will be responsible for managing case files, taking and defending depositions, legal research, preparing legal documents, investigating facts, and attending hearings, depositions, mediations and trials. Qualified candidates must have strong academic credentials, excellent writing and research skills, and proven ability to analyze sophisticated and complex factual and legal issues. They need to be a self-starter with the ability to work independently on smaller matters, but also within a team structure on larger ones. Courtroom, motion, and deposition preferred. Experience in state and federal courts and with alternative dispute resolution is also desirable. This is a hybrid position, with a flexible mixture of remote and intermittent in-office attendance. Illinois bar license required.
