ROLE: COORDINATOR OF STUDENT SUPPORT*
MISSION OF THE ROLE
The Coordinator of Student Support is responsible for coordination of Special Education and other student services, specifically with regards to compliance and accountability measures and reporting. The CSS leads and manages our system of supports by organizing the procedures and operational systems to ensure that all students receive needed supports in our full-inclusion model.

POSITION DETAILS
The Coordinator of Student Support is an 11-month position. It includes paid holidays and generous vacation and sick leave. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) role; daily hours may be coordinated with the School Leader.
COMPENSATION
Pay rate is subject to the HGEA BU13(/23) salary schedule at Salary Range 24 (91.7%, or 11/12ths, of listed 12-month rates); step placement is based on years of relevant work experience. Employees also receive a generous benefits package provided to Hawaii State Government Employees.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE POSITION
The role requires the employee to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach above the shoulders, walk short distances, climb stairs, listen effectively, speak clearly, and visually observe staff and students on a routine basis.
