Maintenance Mechanic

Position –  Maintenance Mechanic 

Job Location –  Fridley, MN

Employment Type –  Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 3rd shift 10:00pm-8:00am (Wednesday-Saturday) 

Starting Pay –  $27-32/hr DOE 

Required Education –  High School Diploma/GED plus specialized training ( Min 6mos-2yrs) 

Required Experience –  Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment 

You will be responsible for maintenance of equipment throughout the facility. You will be partnering with the Maintenance Supervisor and Lead to keep the plant and its electrical and mechanical systems running. 

Responsibilities 

• · Works in partnership with leadership to perform maintenance and repairs

  · Troubleshoots all PLC-based automation systems

  · Troubleshoot all production equipment both mechanical and electrical

  · Perform stick or tig welding of small repairs on equipment

  · Lead maintenance projects

  · Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, ammonia, boiler a

Qualifications 

· Willing to work off shift hours, overtime, and be on call as needed

· Must be able to understand written English including food safety technical terminology

· Basic understanding of food safety practices (GMP’s) and HACCP principles
