Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC Lathe (Large) and Milling Centers to produce precision parts as per specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining operations.
Select appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for each job.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize production and maintain quality standards.
Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning.
Perform quality inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, identify process improvements, and ensure production targets are met.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating CNC Lathe (Small and Large) and Milling Centers is essential.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and machining parameters.
Familiarity with programming and editing CNC machine code is desirable.
Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages is a plus.
Ability to perform basic machine maintenance tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
