This Product Manager role will be responsible for digging up, identifying, defining, and implementing digital product changes that help Seed grow while staying loved by its members. You’ll be responsible for the customer experience, which might include user onboarding, referrals, partnerships, and more.

You have a scientific outlook, and you want to help disseminate knowledge and adoption of healthy microbiome cultivation, so you will also use that energy to cultivate a peer environment where data, experiments, and customer problems become the basis to form features that help Seed reach its growth goals. You’re experienced at using the tools of the trade and writing technical specs, tickets, and doing analysis- but also deeply understand user and technical problems and using the limited resources in the physical universe to solve these problems. You excel at understanding subscription dynamics, and will make this part of the DNA that underlies everything you do. You will uphold and encourage a data-driven growth mindset culture in a startup undergoing hyper-growth. You’ll communicate with our Brand, Marketing, R&D, Care, Finance, and other stakeholders to launch projects and new features in dynamic and collaborative new ways.

You will work on a cross-functional team that will help Seed execute, with precision and innovation, a world-class customer subscription experience that reflects the rigor of our science, intentionality of our brand, and the human-centric ethos of our company, especially as it relates to the accountability of health. You obsess over data, insights, new trends, technologies and the kind of gut instincts that come from experience and deep knowledge of our brand. 

What you’ll do

• Focus on increasing growth and customer value
• Launch and iterate ways to optimize conversion, pricing, cross-sell rates and ARPU
• Collaborate on campaigns in partnership with Brand, and improve partnership tools and resources
• Improve ongoing customer experience and retention
• Analyze data to inform future changes
• Create internal tooling for new core services and integrations points where necessary
• Bring a technical perspective around working via discovery, prototyping, validation, and iteration

You

• You have experience as a product manager working with growth, including conversion, experiments, and retention
• You have experience working with a referral and/or loyalty program to scale growth and build customer ecosystems
• You have 5-7 years of experience scaling e-commerce platforms working across engineering teams, product, care, brand and internal stakeholders
• Bonus if you have built an ecommerce, international, or subscription experience with significant scale from <10MM to 250MM
• You’re data driven––you use data to make decisions and when you don’t have data, you search for anecdotal and qualitative information to gain insights
• You are energized about taking the growing, changing problems at a rapidly growing company and clearly defining a path forward with your teammates

• You have a proven track record managing products in fast-paced, agile environments. 
• You’re familiar with data technologies including SQL, Tableau, Looker, Segment, Amplitude, or similar
• You have strong project management skills, and you’re able to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet time-sensitive deadlines
