Job Title : SAP Delivery Lead

Job Description / Responsibilities

As a Delivery Lead, you will :

Manage the day to day activities of SAP implementation projects

Work with the Program Management team and other members of the Project Organization

Be responsible for the overall delivery of the project from the technical perspective including but not limited to design, configuration, data migration, interfaces, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, go-live etc.

Ensure a proper delivery plan is in place in line with the organizational mandate, and execute the delivery plan to meet the goals of the program

Ensure timely completion of project deliverables and that they meet the standards of the organization

Manage risks and issues of the project including timely escalation and pursuit of resolution

Lead and guide workstreams as well as perform individual tasks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Create and publish project status reports in a timely fashion

Provide inputs to steering committee reports

What are the top skills required for this role?

10 years of implementing SAP Projects

7 years of implementing SAP as a Project Manager (should have managed multiple teams; this is non negotiable)

Experience in full suite SAP implementations or multiple SAP modules - both with hands on experience as well as leading and delivering SAP projects.

Prior delivery lead or program management experience working in complex global environments - Should have managed teams, solution and project delivery

Experience working in matrixed organization

Abililty to navigate complex organizational structures

Hands on configuration experience in both on prem and cloud environments

Experience working on technical aspects of the program including but not limited to data migration, complex interfaces and architecture

Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior members of the organization including steering committee members and sponsors

Additional Information :

Non-SAP skills required include : MS Project, Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, and MS Productivity tools including Word, Powerpoint etc.

  • Manage resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered within budget and time constraints. - Provide expert guidance and support to the project team, enhancing their skills and knowledge in geospatial management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the execution of geospatial projects. -Qualifications - Must have a proven track record in managing geospatial projects with a strong understanding of Project Management (PMTrack-M&eqvt).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills are required. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients. - Experience in using geospatial technologies and software is highly desirable.
