SECURITY is Hiring an Armed Security Officer Near Columbus, OH
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in law enforcement or military service and possess strong skills in surveillance, conflict management, and first aid.
Duties:
- Patrol designated areas to detect and deter unauthorized individuals
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarms
- Respond to emergencies and alarms promptly
- Enforce property regulations and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Conduct security checks and maintain accurate logs of activities
- Provide assistance to customers and employees when needed
Experience:
- Prior experience in law enforcement or military is preferred
- Possession of relevant certificates such as CPR, First Aid, or Conflict Management is a plus
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques
- Ability to handle firearms safely and effectively
- Strong surveillance skills and attention to detail
We are looking for an experience armed security officer with his or her valid OPATA certificate to work as an armed guard in the dispensary in Columbus. The days/hours we have available are Sunday-Saturday 2pm-10pm and we need 1 full-time guard and 1 part time guard.
