We are military friendly employing several Veterans.
REQUIRED: have your PSP.
REQUIRED: Armed, can show proof
PAY: $20.00 and up - depending on experience
This is a 24/7 job. Weekends are included.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. Your primary duty will be to provide armed security services and ensure the protection of personnel and property.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises
- Perform security checks on vehicles or other items entering or leaving the premises
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, or irregularities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in emergency situations or when required
Skills:
- Possess a valid First Aid certificate and CPR training
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage to property
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
