Description

This position will primarily be responsible for following a strict procedure for processing life insurance unclaimed property, and answering phone calls from our policy owners, beneficiary(ies) and funeral homes. Requirements

What You'll Do:

• Data entry for matured policies and unclaimed property into our system
• Processing life insurance unclaimed property
• Analyzing contracts to locate policy owners, insureds, and beneficiary(ies)
• Inbound & outbound calls to/from Funeral Homes and Beneficiaries
• Provide excellent customer service on phone and through email
• Other special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Basic computer operation skills
• Ability to type 35 wpm
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
• Ability to work independently and with a team when needed
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times, and engage in repetitive movements

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/equivalent or working toward an associate degree. 
• Work experience of 1-2 years preferred
