SIS personally designs a comprehensive plan to ensure that the client has the freedom to work, travel and conduct their lives without distractions. The focus of the ODO is on advanced planning, threat assessment and problem solving specialized in client management. Management can be implemented through one on one security protection, residential protection and/or elaborate tracking or monitoring system. The ODO team is chosen from a cross section of Federal, State, and local law enforcement to provide security services ranging from Fortune 500 companies to entertainment industry executives, major special events, and any other type of venue requiring a secure presence.The Off Duty Officer (ODO) support all divisions of the company including but not limited to Retail, Special Operations, and OperationsIn this role, your responsibilities will be: • Responsible for the life safety and physical security of assigned client• Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations• Ability to work independently and provide exceptional customer service to our clients• Build a safe and friendly setting for visitors and clients in a professional manner as well as safeguarding client assets• Observe for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-siteAs a candidate you must have: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred• Retired or Sworn Active Law Enforcement with Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) Certification.• Minimum 3 year’s related safety/law enforcement experience• Agency ID Card with CCW Firearms Endorsement• Valid State Armed Security License and any additional certifications or licenses• Must be able to physically stand for a minimum of 8 hours We offer:• $40 Hourly• Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k • Paid Time Off including Sick/Safe Time• A dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunity for growthAdditional Information:Private Patrol Operator #PPO 13936 / Private Investigator #PI 28063Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity EmployerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of this job.
