Description

 We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Security Officer to join our team for the 2nd shift. This position entails a wide range of responsibilities, including patrolling, answering phones, logging packages, providing excellent customer service, following post orders, and monitoring surveillance cameras. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential security, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular patrols of assigned residential properties to deter and detect security threats.
2. Answer phones and respond to inquiries from residents, guests, and vendors courteously and professionally.
3. Log in and out packages accurately, ensuring proper documentation and timely delivery to recipients.
4. Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and courteously.
5. Follow post orders and adhere to established security protocols and procedures.
6. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security incidents promptly.
7. Conduct thorough investigations of security-related incidents and prepare detailed reports as needed.
8. Collaborate with property management and local law enforcement agencies as necessary.
9. Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and medical incidents.
10. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including patrol logs, incident reports, and package logs.
11. Perform routine maintenance checks on security equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
12. Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding confidentiality, safety, and security.

Shift: 2 pm-10 pm Saturday-Wednesday

Pay Rate: 15.80 hourly

Hours are variable and can change based on the needs of the business.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a security officer in a residential or similar setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using surveillance and security equipment, including cameras, monitors, and alarm systems.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle emergencies and security incidents calmly and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours, including weekends and holidays, and or hold over 4 hours into the next shift as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current active Perc Card and 20-Hour Certificate
• Read, write, and speak English
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physically fit to stand/walk 8 hours
