Seawall Motel is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Southwest Harbor, ME

We are seeking a detail-oriented friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!

We are currently offering a sign-on bonus and end of the year bonus. This position is mainly a 2pm-9pm shift, with possibility of subbing for the morning shift (7am-2pm) if needed. Working together with a positive attitude is one of our biggest requirements! It's a fun space to be with our main goal of providing a positive and memorable guest experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support at the front desk of our office.

*Must have housing and transportation*

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Manage inquiries from guests.
- Learn the reservation system.
- Check-in/check-out guests and assist.
- Maintain a tidy and organized breakfast/reception area.

Requirements:

-Great attitude and ability to work well with others.

-Maintain a positive demeanor in stressful situations.

- Proven experience in customer service or as a receptionist
- Computer literacy with proficiency in using office software
- Willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and pleasant phone demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 30 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Rotating weekends
  • Weekends as needed
