SUMMARYThe Seahawks Social Media Internship is a hands-on program designed to develop digital media professionals in the sports industry. The intern will assist the Seattle Seahawks digital media team with the ideation, development and execution of content for Seahawks social channels across various platforms, as well as ancillary accounts like Lumen Field, Seahawks Dancers, the Seahawks Pro Shop and more. This is a six-month internship beginning in late July 2024 and ending in mid-January 2025.By the end of the internship and in accordance to their strengths and desire to build their weaknesses, the intern will have the opportunity to have first-hand experience in social media content, photography, videography, design, writing for Seahawks.com, project management and more.The intern will be expected to learn heavily through experience and extensive resources will be available to facilitate the process at the intern’s initiative.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
