General Summary:
The Title IX/Section 504 Coordinator oversees the university's compliance with Title IX of the federal Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other applicable anti-discrimination laws. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Human Resources, this position collaborates with various university departments and stakeholders to prevent discrimination, harassment, and retaliation on the basis of sex and disability. Also works within HR to assess and update various employment policies and as HR representative on some institutional policy revisions and updates. As part of the Human Resources Team this position reports directly to the AVP for HR, but as a Department of Education-recognized institutional representative this position operates with direct access to the University President.

Salary: $72,000 - $78,000 annually, DOE
This is a full time position with excellent benefits. SPU pays the employee premium for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
