Position Summary
Seattle Bank is hiring a Business Banker to support our continued growth and help us better serve small businesses, and business owners who want a single point of contact for managing their interwoven business and personal banking needs.
We are looking for a high-performer who will work strategically to market to target prospects, engage in thoughtful profiling to identify and evaluate opportunities, and effectively manage the sales, credit and onboarding process for these clients. The Business Banker will generally work with businesses under $5 million in revenue and their owners.
They will market our small business lending products, including SBA 7A loans, treasury and deposit products. Additionally, the Business Banker will work closely with our commercial relationship managers on larger commercial or real estate loans, and will work with our private and mortgage bankers to help meet the personal banking needs of the business owners. In all these areas, the Business Banker will work closely with our marketing team to leverage traditional and digital marketing to help uncover and activate more leads.
A key ingredient to our success in providing highly personalized solutions to clients is our team’s high degree of collaboration to support clients and each other. One way we reinforce that is ensuring that all members of the sales team are eligible for incentive compensation based on team performance. The Business Banker will be eligible for team incentive compensation, and will also be eligible or incentive compensation based on individual production.
We’re looking for someone to hustle, moving quickly to help clients and increase our reach.
