Seasonal Pool Server is Hiring a Mansion Seasonal Pool Server (Part-Time) Near Dallas, TX

Job Summary-
To set up and serve food and beverage orders according to set standards and procedures as well as performing necessary side work for the pool and pool bar. To deliver food and beverage service to the pool area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- (Key Activities)
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
• Set up orders (tables or trays) according to standards. Deliver them to guest on time.
• Presentation of Checks. Collection of money generated as revenue and the proper deposit made at the end of each shift. Proper recordkeeping on guest checks at the point of sale. Thorough knowledge of POS system - InfoGenesis.
• Keep the pool surrounds and pool bar clean and tidy.
• Able to confidently recount and share with guests the daily menu specials, as well as the menus as a whole. Able to suggest to guest menu items.
• Be very helpful towards guests, making sure all their needs and wants are met.
• Keep a tidy appearance.
• Follow directions and carry delegated duties.

Other Standard Responsibilities-
Experience-
Previous server experience and cash handling experience preferably in an upscale dining environment.
General Skills-
• Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Technical Skills-
• Should be able to carry trays and lift heavy loads occasionally.
• Ability to move from the kitchen to the pool and deliver/pick up trays/carts.
• Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to read and understand instructions, safety rules, etc.
• Must be capable of communicating effectively with guests and employees.
• Professional presentation throughout the entire shift
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Basic food and beverage knowledge
• Ability to organize multiple tasks.
Education or Certification
Must be TABC certified.
Food Safety Certificates
Language -
• Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
Physical Requirements -
• Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.
