Searstone Retirement Community,is looking for a Food Service Utility employee to join our amazing Dining Services Team!

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for upkeep of department hand sinks, floors, walls, carts, etc., and trash, dish washing and pot and pan washing.
• Plans individual schedule so that all duties are properly completed at the appropriate times during the shift.
• Sorts and washes all dishes from dining room and residents’ rooms, utilizing proper infection control procedures. Records dish machine rinse temperatures at each meal washing service.
• Sorts, scrubs and disinfects all pots and pans, utilizing proper infection control procedures.
• Keeps dish room, utility room and pot and pan room clean and orderly and free from standing water.
• Performs related tasks as assigned.
• Follows all safety rules.
• Light food prep.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to follow written and verbal directions. One year food service related utility work preferred.

Must be able to speak and understand English.

Must be willing to work nights, weekends and some holidays as assigned.
