The Role

In this role, you will work with our CFO to help take our industry leading ecommerce platform to the next level. Our mission statement is to Give Merchandisers Super Powers. Our teams are supported by the finance department and are integral to the success of each team and the entire company. You will be a critical component in helping the finance team successfully support the entire company.

What does that look like in the day to day? [Example Below]

• The main focus of this role is to lead a team of accounting professionals through the full set of business transactions, including but not limited to revenue, payroll, billing, collections, commissions, payables, and treasury.
• Lead the periodic close process.
• Own the revenue process such that the highest integrity of financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP is maintained.
• Oversee the payables function, ensuring vendors are properly managed and related transactions are accurately recorded and executed.
• Guide the team in managing cash, including forecasting near- and mid-term liquidity needs as well as executing daily wire/ACH transactions.
• Manage processes to ensure compliance with applicable global income, sales, franchise, excise, etc. tax requirements.
• Lead the process of financial reporting, including on a consolidated and unconsolidated basis, across multiple functional currencies.
• Liaise with external auditors to meet reporting requirements and conduct organized engagements.

Requirements

• 10 years of progressive accounting experience
• 5 years of management and oversight experience
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong technical accounting skills preferred
• Experience in the software or software-as-a-service industry preferred
• Experience with NetSuite and QBO

Salary Range

Base salary ranges from $160k - $210k.
