Immediate need for an experienced Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant ready for the next level to join a fast growing innovative manufacturer based near the Doraville / Norcross area convenient to 85 and 285. After doubling in size the last two years, this progressive and innovative company is poised to do the same in the coming years.

To manage the financial reporting and accounting activities of operations so that management and operations have timely and accurate information. This person oversees AP, AR, Cash Management and MST’s monthly close activity and is the primary liaison for the annual audit. 

Reports to: Controller

Manages: AP/AR Specialist, Payroll Specialist, and MST (outsource) 

Relates closely with: Accounting, Management, Operations, 

Continuing responsibilities: 
• Oversee all accounting processes related to financial reporting
o Manage MST activity for monthly close
o Prepare monthly financial statements (departmental and consolidated) for both internal and external use
o Liaison for year-end audit including preparation of workpapers and account reconciliations
• Manage activity of AP/AR and Payroll Specialists 
• Cash Management – Managing AP and AR. Cash forecasting. Daily cash reconciliation
• Capital project management and property taxes
• P&L Forecasting

Top measurable priorities for coming year:
• AR Days Outstanding – 45 days or less
• Monthly close in 10 days or less 
• Audit ready for ACI and ACII by March 31

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience a plus
• A minimum of 5 year's of corporate accounting experience
• Leadership / Management experience preferred
