The On Call Banquet Server position is responsible for food and beverage service and set up/breading during events. 

Banquet Server Responsibilities:

• Set-up banquet room to include linen, service ware and glassware. 
• Serve food and/or beverage in a professional manner.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function. 
• Understand how to set up multiple buffet stations in according to the requirements on the banquet event order. 
• Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guest’s overall satisfaction. 
• Once banquet is complete, reset room according to specifications to ensure readiness for the next business day or function.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work area. 
• Required to be able to work varying schedules from time to time. All employees are required to attend all scheduled training and departmental sessions.
• Arrive in assigned work area on time in full, clean pressed assigned uniform for scheduled shift.
• Perform and complete assigned tasks by management.
• Be totally familiar with operations/locations and be able to direct guest and answer guest questions of general facility.

Qualifications:

• Reliable and responsible 
• Must be able to work well with others in a positive environment
• Able to stand for long periods of time, sometimes up to 8-12 hours
• Need to have flexibility to work a pop-up event at a minimum of 24 hours’ notice
• Must have at least 1 year of banquet serving experience
• Must have own transportation and be able to pass background check
• Communicate in English in a clear, concise pleasant and sincere manner
• Understand requests and correctly, creatively, and expediently carry them out
• Be out going, friendly and patient
• Handle multiple requests with poise, accuracy, and timeliness
• Understand and practice the policies of The Seagate. 
• Use good judgment at all times
• Must have a passion for service and the ability to think ahead of guests needs
• Have basic computer knowledge
• Hard working, efficient, effective, team player, great attitude, loves to work with people and the 

Physical and Working Conditions 

• Work long hours when necessary and flexible with schedule. Be able to work weekends, nights, holidays, as necessary.
• Stand, sit, walk for extend hours, lift, carry and push up to fifty plus pounds.
