Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking a Surface Ship Combat Systems Software Engineer to join our Combat Systems group.
This role: Plans,conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops,documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematicalsolutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language forsolutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriatestandards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter tobe programmed in business/mission applications, information processingtechniques used, and information gathered from system users to developsoftware. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compilesdocumentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities toresolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input dataacquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standardsare met.
