SEACORP is Hiring an Inventory Management Analyst Near Middletown, RI

SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Inventory Management Analyst.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking an Inventory Management Analyst to assist in the administration of the Government Property Management program. This person will be a member of the Contracts Department and will execute a variety of inventory management and physical audit functions in a company-wide role.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and administration of SEACORP’s Property Management System.
  • Learn how to operate the newest eQuip Upgraded Government Framework software and become a software program administrator.
  • Learn, or develop your knowledge of, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) rules regarding Government Property for defense contractors.
  • Work in tandem with Contracts, Purchasing, Accounting, and Technical teams to ensure accurate inventory records are kept and proper custodianship of assets is maintained.
  • Serve as a resource for Logisticians to ensure company-wide inventory procedures are consistently applied across technical program areas.
  • Provide Purchasing and Receiving assistance as needed.
  • Conduct physical inventories as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, OR Associate’s Degree with 3 years of relevant professional experience preferred. Candidates with comparable level of work/military experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Must have excellent time management and communication skills to work as part of a team in a program management environment.
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must be flexible to tasking changes.
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must have U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance.

Experience: 0 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Associate's degree.

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Warehouse Storage - This position requires the following physical activities: Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and looking at computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Occasional use of pallet jack required (no experience necessary). Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
