Description
Our client has an opening for a Welder to support their manufacturing operations. They need a candidate who has experience with either MIG or TIG welding, and is proficient in reading blueprints. You will work with the welding team in this position to complete assigned tasks. Our employees are well compensated and eligible for benefits.
Requirements
· Work closely with Welding Team Lead to support, and meet the production schedule
· Produce parts with zero defects
· Report equipment and material faults
· Monitor the production process, carry out basic testing, and finish quality checks
· Use proper tools required for specific operations
· Safely use lifting equipment when required
· Follow World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology, and Welding Procedure Specifications during all operations
· Ensure welding equipment is operating correctly and properly maintained
· Fill out related paperwork accordingly
· Follow Weld Inspector directives and recertify when directed
· Dismantle components by the means of cutting, grinding, torching, and plasma
Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED
· Experience with MIG or TIG Welding
· Possess mechanical and basic computer skills
· Proficient in reading blueprints and drawings
· Able to analyze data
· Possesses World Class Manufacturing knowledge
· Able to stand, walk, and repeatedly lift for extended periods
· Capable of following tasks, and instruction sheets, working with little to no supervision, multitasking, and focusing on details
· Collaborative, works well with others, and exhibits teamwork
· Comply with all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment, including always wearing the proper PPE, safely handling materials, tools, and chemicals, and reporting unsafe work conditions or equipment immediately
· Successfully pass the required pre-employment background check and drug screen
