Daily Operations
Work to provide stable collaboration tools and deliver continuous improvement of the tools,
including:
• Collaborate with key business users to proactively communicate the status of ongoing
issues and developments within SLA;
• Work effectively with third party vendor resources as required for application
support/enhancement development;

Projects and Business Change
Involved in projects and minor/major enhancements (following the change process, defining
requirements, business cases and following the project lifecycle), including:
• Effectively lead in soliciting and gathering requirements (user requirements, business
process requirements, and performance requirements) from business users using
appropriate mechanisms and following I&T standards;
• An example of a potential enhancement would be to consult and advise the business on
the best ways to utilize the tools/structure SharePoint sites and get the most out of the
technologies available; gathering requirements, creating design and delivering SharePoint
solutions using the tools available in alignment with the governance;
• Document requirements and design for solutions;
• Ensure application documentation is kept up-to date;
• Deliver projects/tools that are part of the Digital Workplace, providing business benefit
and an enhanced user experience.

Workplace and User Experience
Work across the team to promote best practice/use of the available collaboration tools and
provide guidance to enhance the workplace and user experience, including:
• Work with the Adoption and Engagement team to suitably communicate/promote the
use of the collaboration tools available;
• Gather requirements and come up with ways to improve user experience across the
collaboration tools;
• Create and promote use cases, tips and tricks etc.;
• Create training documentation as well as delivering training where required;
• Actively participate in user communities to drive best usage practice and ensure
governance is being adhered to;
• Work with the business to deliver suitable collaboration sites that allow for effective
collaboration.

Technical Knowledge
Maintain a working knowledge of current technologies and best practices related to collaboration
tools.
Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Provide hiring requirements for the
specified position, including educational, experiential, and competency requirements necessary for the position.
Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; education preferably concentrated in IT, Engineering or
Science; Master degree or post graduate coursework is preferred
Experience
• Technical training in vendor specific technology preferred
• 3-5 years' IT experience including specific experience in business systems analysis
• Deep understanding of and practical experience in Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience of using and an understanding of other Microsoft O365 collaboration tools,
including but not limited to: Teams; OneDrive; Stream; Delve; Power Platform and
other third party tools that supplement e.g. Nintex, ShareGate
• Experience operating with outsourced service providers in an international context
• In depth knowledge and experience of SharePoint (preferably SharePoint Online) and
O365 Groups
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office products, such as Project, PowerPoint,
SharePoint, Excel, and Visio
• Demonstrable experience in documenting requirements and formal testing
• Knowledgeable with all aspects of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and agile
methodologies
• Experience of a highly regulated IT environment or good documentation culture,
including formal change management processes
