IT Technician

SCS Direct Inc. is seeking a part-time employee to support the IT department. The IT Technician will be primarily responsible for Infrastructure Maintenance, Technical Troubleshooting and User Support and Training.

Position Overview:

● Location: Trumbull, Connecticut

Technical Requirements:

• Clear understanding of computer networks (servers, routers, network switches, Wi-Fi, NAS, etc.).

· Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office suite. M365, Google Workspace facilitating efficient enterprise-wide usage.

· Hardware Expertise: Competent in troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing computer hardware, along with preparing and installing IT equipment.

· Peripheral Installation: Capable of installing and configuring peripheral devices such as printers and scanners.

· Advanced Network Troubleshooting: Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.

· Cloud Solutions: Familiarity with implementing and managing cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
