Scrubs Boutique and More is Hiring a Retail Sales Associate at Scrubs/Medical Uniform Store Near Austin, TX

Dear Candidate,

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our medical uniform store. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding the right medical uniforms and accessories, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and a passion for helping others.

This is a PART TIME Position, with fully availability to work on Weekends ( Saturday/ Sunday) and 1 day during the week. You are expected to do from opening to close the store: (10am-7pm M-S) and Sundays 10am to 4pm. Please make sure you have this availability before applying. Being able to be On Call is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide product knowledge and assistance to customers in selecting the appropriate medical uniforms, scrubs, lab coats, footwear, and accessories.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and keeping displays neat and tidy.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, restocking merchandise, and conducting periodic inventory counts.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Stay informed about new products, promotions, and sales events.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer service, sales, and store operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in the apparel industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency with computerized point-of-sale systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical uniforms and apparel is a plus.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
