This is a small machine shop, so the office manager needs to wear many hats and be willing to take on increasing responsibilities as familiarity with job grows.
Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate would be an excellent communicator with fast typing skills and good spelling. If not already proficient in Quickbooks Online, OTJ training is available until 4/30/24. (Afterwards, employer may pay for online training.) Bilingual in Spanish is a bonus, but not required.
Job Description: Tasks include answering the phone, daily reconciling credit card payments and expenses in Quickbooks, paying bills and contractors, providing CPA with requested documents for different tax filings, paying monthly sales tax, calculating and processing weekly payroll through Paychex, mailing monthly statements to dealerships, getting pricing from vendors, assist in creating invoices, and check in parts. Office manager must be able to prioritize tasks and be comfortable with frequent interruptions/re-direction.
Work setting: One-room office, moderate-to-loud noise from shop, shared work space, shared computer and desk phone.
