vAs Manager, Risk Management/Patient Relations, you will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of the activities and functions of a department.

vParticipate in department strategic planning and contributes to its success through effectively communicating goals and expectations to staff.

vEnsure effective use of system resources.

vProvide functional expertise essential to staff and leadership.

vEnsure expenses do not exceed budget. Participate in standards of practice and process improvement activities.

vOversee staffing matrices and possesses authority to hire, conduct performance evaluations, and discipline employees.

vEnsure policy and procedures are followed by staff.
