What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

• Provide timely and accurate general ledger account reconciliation and analysis
• Support and monitor lease accounting, ensuring accurate data input and adherence to group standards
• Track and evaluate tangible and intangible assets
• Establish proper accounting and reporting of inventory
• Support processing of Accounts Payable and answer employee and vendor inquiries pertaining to payments
• Oversee various month end closing activities and prepare group consolidation reporting data
• Support in bridging the gap between different ERP systems and general ledgers to optimize accounting transparency and ease of reporting
• Support team in preparation of financial audits, both internal and external
• Reconcile credit card payments and ensure proper accounting of transactions 
• Manage, improve, and document various financial processes 

Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events. The role will be based out of a Scout Motors location in Tysons, VA with consideration to candidates working remotely in the broader Washington-D.C. area. Applicants should expect that the role may require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and be able to travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 
• CPA designation preferred 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel 
• Experience using accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex agreements and apply accounting standards appropriately 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations 
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position, eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $75,000 - $90,000
