Scotty's Contracting and Stone is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Portland, TN

Scotty's is looking for a Construction Project Manager for our Heavy Civil Division! The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. This position will be responsible for managing construction projects from pre-construction to project completion. This will include, but not be limited to plan design reviews, site reviews, project development, safety, resource management, project supervision, etc.

Scotty's Contracting and Stone, LLC is a subsidiary of Houchens Industries and participates in an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). The Employee Stock Ownership Plan provides employees with a retirement through profit sharing.

Description:

· New business development and project estimating

· Reviewing proposals, plans, drawings, and specifications

· Working with internal and external personnel on the development of project plans, safety plans, resource plans, etc.

· Providing direction, training and leadership to project crews including sub-contractors and other personnel

· Interfacing with local officials, inspectors, and other state transportation cabinet personnel

· Managing project(s) including job cost tracking

Qualifications:

· Comprehensive knowledge on various types of heavy equipment (graders, dozers, trackhoes, etc.)

· Excellent project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills with attention to detail

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

· Preferably, 10 years of direct industry experience including supervision of a variety of site personnel

· Positive customer service-oriented attitude.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
