Scottsdale Behavioral Health is looking for an associate-level counselor to provide telehealth outpatient counseling services to patients of our fully virtual IOP program, Scottsdale Virtual Clinic. The ideal candidate is engaging and focused, and must be able to adapt to changing needs and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Counselors who may be interested in this position will need to possess the ability to work with autonomy on efficiently conducting patient assessments, treatment planning, and counseling, including trauma therapy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years of experience preferred
• Associate level license in the state of Arizona (LAC/LMSW/LAMFT)
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid CPR, First Aid
• Valid fingerprint clearance

JOB DUTIES

• Conduct initial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment focus by interviewing the patient, their family members and outpatient team.
• Engage in the patients in high quality group therapy
• Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans and updates treatment plans as required
• Document all time and services in client's chart in a way that is professional and appropriate.
• Rendering evidence–based therapeutic treatment to clients
• Providing an array of mental health services utilizing evidence based theories and interventions to promote individualized client recovery

Clinical contractors must support a positive work culture, have an eagerness to learn and adapt to research in the field.
