Scottsdale Behavioral Health is Hiring a Behavioral Health Administrative Assistant (Case Management Specialist) Near Scottsdale, AZ

Scottsdale Virtual Clinic is a fully telehealth outpatient clinic in Arizona that provides virtual group therapy, individual therapy, case management, and medication management to patients struggling with substance use disorder and co-occuring mental health conditions. We are looking for a highly organized administrative assistant with case management experience to assist our Director of Patient and Provider Relations in the management of our IOP and patient coordination.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides administrative services and assistance to our Director of Patient and Provider Relations. This role involves taking direction and providing administrative assistance, case management assistance, EMR data entry, patient communication, provider communication, and anything else needed to aid our Director in the efficient management of our IOP system. Experience with case management and administration preferred

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Provides administrative services to the director including data entry and EMR management, scheduling assistance, and case management assistance

2. Reviews and audits patient files and documents for completeness and accuracy

3. Assists in direct communication with patients and potential referrals including: intake calls and prescreens, case management consultations, scheduling medication consults, and group/individual therapy reminders.

4. Maintains records and/or files for assigned patients. Ensures appropriate documentation is timely and accurately entered into departmental application.

5. Works independently under general supervision. Represents the company as a primary point of contact to outside entities such as patients, service providers, community agencies, vendors, etc.

6. Works directly under our Director of Patient and Provider relations to increase efficiency and run our IOP program smoothly with high patient satisfaction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma and two or more years administrative work experience in a related area or case management experience (College Degree/Higher Education preferred)

- Must possess valid Arizona Level I fingerprint clearance card

- Must have the ability to work under direction or independently in a high intensity case management environment

- Employment experience in behavioral health, case management, or IOP preferred

- Strong understanding of Behavioral Health compliance and documentation requirements

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills (Must Be Highly Organized)

- Excellent computer skills, email, and scheduling experience (including google suite and excel)
