Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Custodian to join our team. As a custodian, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and clean school environment for our students and community. This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of educators and children in contributing to our small community school.
Sample Duties for Custodial team:
-Sweeping & Cleaning floors (Daily)
-Shampooing rugs and carpets (Summer)
-Emptying trash cans (Daily)
-Changing air filters and cleaning vents (Seasonal)
-Dusting all surfaces (Weekly)
-Waxing floors (3-4 times a year)
-Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed
-Washing windows
-Maintaining a thorough inventory
-Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners
-Collecting and taking out trash and recycling (Daily)
-Clean ups as needed
-Clean and disinfect bathrooms (Daily)
-Work as a team member during the day with students in thge building
-Summer maintenance includes moving furniture to clean & wax floors with your team.
-Ongoing repairs as needed and the ability to work with a small team
-Much needed opportuntiy to make our school shine!
