Operations Lead

Scootaround is looking for an Operations Team Lead to join the team in Fort. Lauderdale.

What You Will Do:

As an Operations Team Lead, you will manage the workforce in a way that encourages teamwork, cooperation, and productivity. You will focus on fostering team unity and boosting a company’s day-to-day efficiency. The Operations Team Lead will proactively act to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.You will lead by setting a good example and engaging the team to achieve goals.

What That Actually Involves:

  • Directly managing staff, partner with your supervisor on creating policies, and providinghands on day-to-day assistancefor employees.

  • Schedulingtraining, mentoring, and coaching the operations team and conducting quarterly performance reviews. 

  • Partnering and motivating teammates to meet and exceed expectations.

  • Providing daily ongoing team leadership and assisting with recruitment and onboarding initiatives, as necessary. 

  • Creating a positive and energetic work environment that inspires the team. 

  • Prioritize assignments and delegate tasksdaily while ensuring projects meet successful outcomes. 

  • Developing and implementing timelines to ensure targets are met. 

  • Improve process improvements and streamline business functionality. 

  • Oversee equipment and facility management and maintenance. 

  • Responsible for partnering with the team and ensuring that all daily orders are facilitated, and exceptions communicated to the team.

  • Responsible for partnering with the team and ensuring all orders for the following day are staged and ready for pick up. 

  • Responsible for ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner

  • Should attend all scheduled meetings and respond to all messages and calls in a timely manner. 

  • Ensure all vehicles are safe, clean and in show quality condition. Meet vehicle service deadlines. 

  • Ensure all assets are scanned in Track About and all exceptions and accounting errors are addressed on a daily basis.

  • Deliver instructions clearly and concisely to the team.

  • Responding to customer and employee feedback, questions and/or issues.

  • Foster an environment that emphasizes excellent customer service and empowers the team to exceed customers’ expectations.

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology in all areas of the operational business. 

  • Monitoring inventory levels and adjusting as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.

  • Other duties as required.

Requirements 

  • 2 yearsof work experience as a team leader.

  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.

  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.

  • Salesforce experience is an asset. 

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Organizational and time-management skills.

  • Decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and writing skills.

  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and passion. 

  • Retains a high degree of patience and empathy. 

  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and resiliency. 

Additional Information
