Scoops La Jolla is looking for part-time /full-time Team Leads or Supervisors to join our Team

Scoops La Jolla started as a delicious idea back in 2018 . We searched high and low to find the best-handcrafted ice cream to bring to the community of La Jolla because we believe ice cream is a dessert that is meant to be shared with everyone. As a family of self-proclaimed ice cream aficionados (we LOVE ice cream) we can’t wait to bring our vision of decadent ice cream to you!

As a Team Lead you will:

• Scoop and serve Ice cream, learn how to make and serve our homemade Sweet Crepes, and Espresso Machine
• Gain valuable real-world business and entrepreneurship experience
• Work in an environment oriented around serving each other and making people’s day
• Lead shifts and act as a role model for other team members

Qualities of a team supervisor:

• Exhibit passion for community, an eye for detail, a willingness to clean (a lot), stamina (to serve people in long lines), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to lead staff, holding them accountable and command expectation of shop protocols and service
• Have great judgment, common sense, and be skillful interpersonally
• Understand the product in and out (Especially when it comes to allergies)
• Available to work weekends, late nights (past 11 p.m.)
• Provide high- level service to every single customer
• Reliable, on time, and ready to hustle for every shift
• Committed to the well-being of their shop team, their community, and the environment around them

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
