Director of Nursing
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve nursing practices and enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication across departments
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing programs and services, making recommendations for improvement as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in nursing, implementing changes as necessary
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and employee satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Valid state nursing license and current CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals at all levels
- Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team
