Job Overview:

We are looking for a Technical IT Professional to join our US team. The primary role of this position is to work with our Support and R&D teams to prepare a systems infrastructure that optimizes the deployment of secure chem and bioinformatics solutions for the Life Science industry.

Full Time, Based in Cambridge MA (mostly work from home)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Scilligence AWS cloud platform to ensure optimal performance and reliability, adhering to ISO 27001 certification standards for information security.
• Assess, update, and enforce company data security policies to safeguard sensitive information.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to configure private cloud servers tailored to their specific needs.
• Partner with our IT service provider to enhance our data security infrastructure and practices.
• Provide on-call support as needed to address any urgent issues
• Support internal services (Office365, Mattermost, email servers)
• Supervise and manage IT specialists
• Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise IT management, with a proven track record of maintaining ISO 27001 certification standards.
• Proficiency in enterprise data security principles and practices, with a focus on maintaining compliance and mitigating risks.
• Solid grasp of Windows Server environments, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Amazon AWS services, with experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions.
