**THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL**
Time & Alarm Systems, a Division of Sciens Building Solutions is currently seeking qualified individuals for a Driver/Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for shipping/receiving, deliveries and other warehouse duties! We are an industry leader in the Integration and Implementation of Low Voltage Systems including Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV, Access Control, Intercom/Mass Notification, Computer Networking and Audio-Visual Systems for the K-12, Military/Govt. markets in Southern California.
**WHAT YOULL BE DOING (and doing well!)**
* Making job site deliveries using company provided vehicles
* Preparing various job-related forms using a computer
* Order pulling and staging materials
* Shipping and receiving primarily using UPS Ground or FedEx Express
* General building maintenance (less than 5% of the time)
* Receiving material on a daily basis and matching against packing slips/orders
* Performing various warehouse duties as assigned by Dept. Manager
**WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU**
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Must be able to lift 50 - 75 LBS
* 1-2 years general warehouse and delivery driver experience preferred but not required
* Experience with forklift, pallet jack, basic hand tools, and Misc. warehouse equipment
* Excellent Customer Service, communication, reading & organizational skills
* Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Excel)
* Ability to complete projects independently or with little supervision
* Must be able to pass a DOJ/Background & drug screen test pending offer acceptance
* Clean DMV & Reliable Transportation, Drivers License, current Insurance & Registration pending offer acceptance
* Forklift Certification or must acquire within 30 days of start date
* Detail oriented
* Ability to clean and maintain work area
* Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
