JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspects all assigned rooms to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
- Provides efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department
- Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniform
- Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards on a consistent basis
- Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately.
- Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning
- Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairs necessary
- Identify itemsthatguestshaveleftbehindandreportitemsutilizing the hotel’s lost and found procedures
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Housekeeping experience
- High School Diploma/GED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively verballyandinwriting
- Leadership skills
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and associates
- Knowledge of cleanliness standards
- Available to work weekends, and holidays as needed
