SCHROTH Safety Products LLC is a leading developer and manufacturer of innovative occupant protection and restraint systems for highly specialized aerospace, defense, and motorsport applications. We develop sophisticated technical solutions for customers in seats, seat belts, airbag technology, and crash safety.

We're looking for a Buyer that will assist in selecting the most appropriate goods based on price, quality, delivery times and service support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

*Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of local suppliers and capabilities.

*Manage the day-to-day business relationship with key suppliers through supporting activities including ordering, communication of demand/volume/delivery time changes, issue resolution, follow up on backorders, etc.

*Ensure continuity of goods and services that meet the quality, levels of service and price performance standards of the company.

*Act as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement related problems.

*Contribute to the cost savings goal through process efficiency. Maintain appropriate inventory levels consistent with targeted inventory goals.

*Complete special projects and assignments as requested.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
