SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Transfer Articulation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the establishment and ongoing management of articulation agreements between institutions to ensure a seamless transfer experience for students pursuing STEM degrees. This position involves working closely with community colleges and other partner institutions to facilitate data sharing and streamline transfer initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Coordinate the establishment and ongoing management of articulation agreements between institutions, ensuring a seamless transfer experience for STEM students.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and make recommendations for improvements related to data sharing and transfer initiatives.
• Maintain a current understanding of trends, best practices, and challenges in STEM education, particularly as they pertain to underrepresented populations and transfer students.
• Act as a liaison between partner institutions and Schreiner University to ensure effective communication and collaboration on transfer-related issues.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with articulation agreements and understanding the unique challenges faced by transfer students in STEM fields.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt messages to diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and data analysis tools.
