Physical Plant/Custodial/Plant Operator I

Physical Plant Desceiption:
Knowledge of the use of tools and equipment needed for school plant management. Ability to
supervise contracted services personnel. Basic knowledge of computer use. Knowledge of
budget preparation and monitoring. Skill in dealing with students, staff and administration.
Basic Handyman skills.
Job Summary:
To provide on-site support and services to maintain a clean, healthy, safe and
well-maintained school or facility.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid Florida driver’s license.
3. Knowledge of all phases of plant maintenance.

Salary Information: Support Personnel. Pay Grade 8. Two hundred fifty days worked (12 months). FLSA non-exempt.
