Our Middle School Principal must be a true collaborator. As an educational, and instructional leader, the principal works with over 30 professional staff, 20 support staff, the district leadership team, and a strong staff union to implement our strategic plan. In short, our new leader will have a passion for facilitating and supporting continuous school growth and improvement.
Wisconsin Licensure #5051 required or proof of ability to obtain licensure.
Our Community:
Ashland Middle School serves approximately 375 students in grades 6- 8. We are rich in diversity, educational institutions, and outdoor opportunities. The school district is about 440 square miles including the City of Ashland, The Bad River River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, and several outlying townships. The City of Ashland is home to 8,000 residents with another 8,000 citizens in the surrounding area. We are home to Northwood Technical College and Northland College, maintaining strong relationships with both institutions. Our area is also rich in innovation. Bretting Manufacturing, Tamarack Health, and a thriving entrepreneurial class are all located in Ashland.
